In the constellation Monoceros, there are several areas of Blue Reflection nebulae interconnected with streams of Dark Nebulae. IC447 is the largest nebula, while the smaller ones catalogued as various vdB, and NGC objects. These beautiful nebulae combine to give the appearance of a large Whale swimming through the sky.
This photo was taken with a 1m TEC140 telescope and Atik 490 CCD camera. In all there are 11hrs of B/W and RGB images combined into the final image.
Note: All our prints are printed on Baryta 325g Paper, which is an excellent paper for framing. The paper is a gloss type, which gives very vivid colour views.
